Mission Statement for St. Isidore Parish

Revised: 3/09/2000

We, the people of St. Isidore Parish, by virtue of Baptism in Christ, are called to be witnesses to the Good News of grace and salvation revealed by Jesus Christ. As members of the Body of Christ, we are invited to share this revelation not only with our parish members but also with the contemporary world around us, and to lead our lives in such a way that those seeing us may in some small way also see Christ.

We believe that faith is a gift that can be lost without constant support and nourishment. We also believe in the sacredness of all life from conception to death.

We believe that through the Eucharist we are united with Christ in His redemptive mission. It is through the Eucharistic liturgy that we celebrate and relive the work of our redemption.

We believe our parish is called to be a center and source for the faith development of all its people. Our parish must also be an extended family that welcomes all people, inspires a sense of belonging and compassion for the needy, and instills a desire to participate with commitment
