Reconfiguration

            We are still “in limbo”.

            But the visit from Sr. Janet Eisner assured us we are not forgotten.

            Each of the staff members and ppc reps who attended that meeting May 9^th shared their thoughts. Each spoke with a sense of hope and appreciation. Sr. Janet had reviewed the memos sent to her, seemed quite conscious of the various factors, and evidenced a sense of listening to the parish.

            Her task is to prepare a report, share it with her committee, present it to the archbishop. He will listen to it and respond in the light of the wider picture of the archdiocese. She indicated that he has been very responsive to her committee’s reports.

            We noted a value of having a clear picture by June of what the coming year will bring inasmuch as so much of parish life flows on the academic calendar.

            Since the role of St. Michael’s is now less clear, it was suggested that we drop the box notice on the front cover of our bulletin.

Generations of Faith

This continues to be encouraging. 

Brother Mickie McGrath of the Oblates of St Francis de Sales is coming this weekend

Council election

John Sangermano has agreed to oversee this process.

We will announce for nominees in June.

Prepare a slate in July/August.

Present the slate September 11^th.

Election will be held September 25^th.
