PPC Election
PPC Election – until four
candidates are secured, date of election is unsure.
Jennifer Cunningham is secured
as a candidate for PPC.

with one.
Pastoral Planning Committee
At our April 10th PPC meeting, we met with
the PFC for a workshop led by Sister Mary Anne Doyle, C.S.J.,
Business Manager to help us all to understand what it means to
budget to mission and the impact on staff, PPC, and PFC.
Ed R. reviewed Sr. Mary Anne’s
description of the “Role of the PPC”
“To assist
the Pastor in his leadership role of:
Planning,
organizing, initiating, promoting, coordinating and reviewing…the
evangelization, worship, religious education and service activities
within a parish.”
We are successful in some of
these roles and need to strengthen our efforts in other areas.
Deacon Charlie offered books
titled “Dreams and Visions” to all PPC members as a
resource to guide us in our pastoral mission.
He went on to offer that it is
the PPC’s mission to make it possible for people to encounter
Christ.
Charlie Corley worked on a
mission statement for St. Isidore’s keeping in mind that it
shouldn’t be long and should be easily understood.
This mission statement along
with the current and a sample as recommended by Bill Heubsch
(provided by Deacon Charlie) will be posted on the St. Isidore
website bulletin board.
Each PPC member should use the
bulletin board to communicate with each other regarding our
progress on St. Isidore’s mission statement.
Deacon Charlie and Charlie
Corley will review comments before the June PPC meeting.
Building and Grounds Committee
Dave G. says it is up and
running.
Looking to use volunteers within
the community versus paid professionals when possible.
Idea brought forward that the
St. Isidore community should be kept aware of what the B&G
Committee is doing so more volunteers may step forward and/or
collections may increase knowing what the money is providing for the
parish.
Other News
Youth Group in the works spear
headed by Andy Crosby.
Starting with middles school
grades.
Looking at starting with four

In collaboration with Maynard is
