Meeting Minutes St. Isidore Parish Pastoral Council March 8, 2007 Members attending : Fr. Dave, Ed Reverdy, Laureen DeBenedetto, Charlie Cornell, Bill Sullivan, Rose Colosi, Cara Schomp, Kim Tocci, Dave Goulet Members Absent: Jeff LaPlante, Nancy Dome, Sue Ormond, Carole Makary Evening prayer: Led by Charlie Cornell Minutes - Feb ’07 minutes reviewed and approved - Ministry Fair: Joe Ormond is willing to help with building/grounds - “Did you know” section of the bulletin began. Use the website or email to submit a question. - Parish Liturgical Committee: not discussed due to the stewardship fair. We need to find someone and train them to lead this. GIRM ( General Instructional Roman Missal) Lauren DeBenedetto is interested in this committee. - Building/Grounds: Going forward we are going to charge a fee for hall use due to an increase in trash pick-up fees and plumbing issues. Lorraine (office) will need to draw up a letter to current hall “regulars” and then add the fee to the building use form. We will not charge boy/ girl scout troops for regular meetings. We still need to find other interested people ( other than Joe Ormond). Fr. Dave will speak to Joe and let him know we are working on forming the committee. - Garden Committee: Push starting the first week in May. No one cam forward to volunteer as of yet. We should add an “If you have/or interested in volunteering” form as an insert to the bulletin. Charlie will get the form and add it to the bulletin in 2 weeks. Other Business: -Where do we go from here? What should we focus on? **Elections- we need to start thinking about people to consider. **Do we have a major focus? Pastoral – Global – Youth, adult Ed – Small faith groups ** GOF – complaints about the meals. Possibility of doing dessert only. Meals only at the first and last gatherings and at Thanksgiving. ** Brainstorming at the next few meetings. Next meeting April 12th, 2007 Meeting ended 9:00 pm Respectfully submitted: Kim Tocci |
