  • At our April 10th PPC meeting (7:30-9:30PM), we will meet with the PFC for a workshop led by Sister Mary Anne Doyle, C.S.J., Business Manager (see bio below) to help us all to understand what it means to budget to mission and the impact on staff, PPC, and PFC.

Sister Mary Anne Doyle, C.S.J., Business Manager

Sister Mary Anne belongs to the Sisters of St. Joseph of Boston. She grew up in Medford and attended Mount St. Joseph Academy and Regis College. She initially served as a teacher in St. Theresa School, West Roxbury, and of high school mathematics at Mount St. Joseph Academy. After receiving her doctorate in Physics from Ohio State University, she began teaching at Regis College and directed the research center there. She subsequently was elected by her community to its leadership council. Sister was also part of the team that planned and oversaw the Archdiocesan Synod, and she has served in the planning offices of the Archdiocese of Boston and of the Catholic School Office. She recently was awarded the certificate in accounting from Bentley College. She lives at Casserly House in Roslindale, where the Sisters of St. Joseph provide tutorial and community service to newly-immigrated area residents in a cheerful, neighborhood setting. Sister also teaches college physics part-time.

Building and Grounds Committee

  • Will meet every 3rd Wednesday beginning March 19.

Other News

  • Ed R. thought it would be beneficial to the parish community to have each St. Isidore Parish Committee take a turn on Coffee Sunday weekend masses to give an update so the parish community would know what is happening and how they can attend or help. This will start the first weekend of April with the PPC. All agreed this was a wonderful idea!

  • Co-Workers in the Vineyard: Laity and Clergy Journeying Together in Christ Conference is scheduled for Friday, April 4th, from 10:30 - 3:30. This conference is being organized at Peterson Hall in Brighton by St. John's Seminary. http://www.rcab.org/News/HomePage.html#080404

    • Please let a staff member know if you would like to attend.

Meeting finished at 9:04 PM. Next meeting – April 10th @ 7:30 PM downstairs in hall (no prayer)

Respectfully submitted,
Laureen DeBenedetto, 03/14/2008
