Christmas

All went well. The gifts that so many brought for the needy were distributed through Val’s Project and others. The decorations under the direction of Laura Orsati proved as great as ever. The music via the regulars and a few extras was well received. Jim Arbella built a new housing for the outdoor creche. Many thanks to one and all.

G o F going forward well. Marriage will be the topic of our next gathering January 20/22.

Finances

The Parish Finance Council is planning a campaign to bring all parishioners into awareness of the fiscal realities that support the mission of the parish. This will be done over the March and April. It will include also invitation for electronic fund transfers.

The council had been exploring EFT including conversations with others who have researched the question. While the process led to positive views of EFT, it saw the need of a far more radical educational campaign.

Census

The 2006 census was begun in simple form with a distribution through the pews. The second stage will be a mailing towards the end of the month.
